Join us for a free event with acclaimed Civil War historian Dr. Gary Gallagher. Dr. Gallagher will be continuing our special series on the Civil War with a lecture on the motivation and meaning of the Civil War in the north.


This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. It will take place in room 1447 of the Law School Building.


Gary Gallagher is a professor of Civil War history at the University of Virginia. He has authored a number of books on the Civil War, including:
