James Muller returns as a CLAFI lecturer following his very popular 2012 lecture on Churchill as a writer. He has taught at the University of Alaska, Anchorage since 1983, during which time he has served three times as chair of the political science department. He has recently completed a multi-year project, the editing of Churchill’s two volume book, The River War, with thousands of footnotes. He has also written extensively about Churchill and edited volumes of Churchill’s essays. Other scholarly interests include Abraham Lincoln and P.G. Wodehouse.
