The InterAct Theater Company will be performing George Bernard Shaw’s The Devil’s Disciple on October 22. One of Shaw’s most charming plays, The Devil’s Disciple will give you a fresh perspective on the American Revolutionary War. Dick Dudgeon flummoxes everyone in a typically Shavian manner, until he himself is upstaged (perhaps) by the ill-starred British general, Gentleman Johnny Burgoyne.
This event is free and open to the public, no registration required. Light refreshments will be provided.
The Interact Theatre Company is an acclaimed Los Angeles-based group of actors and directors. They have put on numerous play readings, and frequently collaborate with CLAFI, including most recently performing live readings of Hippolytus and Phedre.
The reading will be directed by Oliver Muirhead.
