“The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial” is a play by Herman Wouk based on his best-selling novel, The Caine Mutiny. The gripping story was also made into a movie starring Humphrey Bogart, which was nominated as Best Picture for 1954. It may be the only work of literature that achieved strong commercial and artistic success in each of those three media. “The Caine-Mutiny Court Martial” was the third play presented at UCLA in this series, way back in 2000, and it is very much worthy of a rerun.
Since 1999, the acclaimed and award-winning Interact Theatre Company has been presenting staged play readings at UCLA. This reading is co-sponsored by CLAFI and the UCLA Law School. It is free and open to all. No advance registration is required. Light refreshments will be available.
